This is a list of books for discussion on both the messageboard and the
chat room. Initially, the books will be online, and then move from there into
books you can check out from the library. This is done so that those w/o the books can
have time to contact their local library and make the necessary interlibrary loan to
get the book and read it themselves.
Nietzsche
Nietzsche has been called one of the original Satanic thinkers, and I believe that title aptly
does describe him. A self-styled "Anti-Christ" and a man who dared to question traditional
lines of thought, he singularly did more to shake up the conscious World philosophically than any other person
ever did. Nietzsche's full volume writings might leave the less resourceful a bit weary, so this
book by Mencken, (who translated many of Nietzsche's works into English, he himself was one of the greats of
atheist literature), of the work of Nietzsche will help those who wish to study more, or just want to
understand the overall context of what Nietzsche said and to whom.
